STRATEGIC BY NATURE.
CREATIVE BY OBSESSION.
HI, ANNA HERE π
Iβm a South African art director and practical maker who loves connecting with people.
Iβve worked across branding, campaigns, social content, film, packaging, and digital platforms.
Iβm equally happy shaping the strategic platform, art directing a shoot, obsessing over typography, building a social content system, or solving the tiny practical production problems nobody sees.
Because great ideas donβt just need imagination; they need beautiful delivery.
WHAT DRIVES THE WORK?
Iβve always believed the strongest creative work lives between strategy, emotion, and execution. Strategy gives ideas direction. Craft gives them credibility. Emotion is what makes people care.
This belief has shaped the work Iβve created across fintech, FMCG, social impact, luxury, tech, and challenger brands. Working with Mukuru, Tyme Bank, Sanlam, Chainlink, Verizon, Midwest Dairy, Emma Sleep Company, Lucky Star, PongrΓ‘cz, Lipton, Bramley, Xneelo, Facebook Africa, and Aware.org.
From launching products in new markets to building internal transformation campaigns, creating purpose-led storytelling, designing packaging systems, or developing social-first creative platforms. I love solving all kinds of problems.
Along the way, the work has picked up a few lovely nods too - including winning Loeries for craft, illustration and integrated campaign and the Loeries Meta x Aware.org Challenge, two Bookmarks for social communities, alongside recognition through the Loeries Individual Rankings and opportunities like Cannes Lions Open Chair Lioness Programme in 2026 awarded to selected woman in the South African Creative Industry.
DRIVEN BY PASSION

DRIVEN BY PASSION *
When I'm away from my computer, youβll probably find me climbing, surfing badly, training for some race with my dog, trying a new painting technique, planning an over-ambitious trip, or finding some other slightly impractical new obsession - my latest is painting thrifted leather shoes.
Iβve always believed the best creative work comes from living fully, outside of the industry bubble. Curiosity, movement, travel, artwork, people, culture, chaos - it all feeds the work.
